All schools and educational institutes across the country will remain closed starting March 18 until further order from the government. In order to monitor the COVID-19 situation within the country and beyond, and globally it is disconcerting on Covid-19 cases. It is also the time when many Bhutanese overseas are returning home. As a precautionary measure, we would like to keep our children home until we are confident about sending them to schools and colleges. Our teachers, on the other hand, have been as concerned and taking active roles in informing students on preventive measure such as washing hand using soap, avoid crowd gathering and visit, and keep one metre gap from person who is sneezing and coughing. Before students are send home principal, class teacher and teachers brief the whole students and make sure they reach home safely with their trusted parents.
