COUNCIL ORIENTATION ON GREEN SKILLS PROJECT
A simple call to act on climate change is the motivation behind this activity. As a Scout Leader, it is one of our duties to use the available platforms in order to help people to be aware of what is really happening around us.
The attendees were warmly welcomed by Nueva Ecij Council CSE Ma'am Maria Fe. A Dela Cruz and OIC-Regional Director of CLR, SL Manuel Isidoro III. Discussions were held on Green Skills and the Green Rising Project (by SL Judielyn D. Sespene), the Champions for Nature Challenge (by SL Pia Maria C. Umali), and the SDG Hub (by Sir Josue A. Sespene, Jr.). SL Judielyn D. Sespene also led a goal-setting session for activities.
One of the learnings in this activity is the vital role of partnership in the success of every project. There can never be achievements on your own and by yourself but instead, simple wins can be celebrated if done hand-in-hand with various stakeholders.
