I am a Sri Lanka Air Force - Air Scout, attached to Colombo Troop. As a Community Service Project. I organised a Blood, Eyes, Human Tissue and Organs donation campaign.  As the Critical illnesses and accidents increase day by day, the need for blood are also increasing tremendously. 

I started the implementation of the project since September 2018. First I booked a date with National Blood Transfusion Service. Major emphasis was made in promoting the event. and I had to allocate a bigger portion of the funds for promoting the event and creating an awareness within the community.

I also organised a small refreshment for the donors and other scouts and guests. However, I was able to conclude a successfull project with nearly 82 pints of donors donating blood and well over 200 donors registering for donate eyes, human tissue and organs after death. Within the group of donors two of my scout leaders and two of my past scouting friends donate blood.
