Community Garden

Community Garden

Griffin Weiss and troop 923 of Gilbert, Arizona, banded together to start a community garden for the Hope Women's Center. What this organization does is provide assistance, such as financial help, and stability for abused or pregnant women. The troop spent four hours of their saturday to build four 4X8 raised bed planters, start a two-foot deep water trench, construct a brick rain gulley, and do some routine yardwork and maintenace such as moving rock and pulling weeds. All around, we truly blessed the Hope Women's center and our community, as they now host classes for nourishment and self-sustainment with their garden.
