Promote scouting in the local community by holding a Community event where we will build a model scout camp site and provide an evening of scouting for local community representatives. Outcome: Hugely successful project promoting scouting in the local community. Location was at the heard of the locality and demonstration campsite was very well received. Event was attended by community and religious leaders including the Scouting Ireland Chief Scout, Christy McCann. Scouts gave a personal tour of the site to our visitors and told them all about our campsite and what they have achieved through Scouting.
