CLEANING CAMPAIGN AT CREMATION GROUND

The campaign was organized to address public concerns over the neglected cremation ground. As scouts, we also aimed to inspire younger people to serve the community and promote the importance of keeping such a sacred place clean.

We began by picking up all the plastic materials and other waste scattered on the ground and placing them in the trash bins. Next, we swept the resting areas and plucked the weeds to improve the surroundings. We also ensured that all the collected waste was disposed of properly. After a quick lunch break, we cleaned the clogged drains to prevent water blockage and cut the large grass bushes around the area, leaving the cremation ground cleaner, safer, and more presentable.

From this project, i have learned that no matter where the place is, it looks better with a clean environment. From this project, i also learned that as a community member, it is our responsibility to keep the community clean
