To welcome the opening of the Scouting Month, the Sunrise Parade is celebrated in order to welcome the opening of the Scouting Month. Scouts around the city participate in the parade then they proceed to the place in where all scouts in the city go and meet. Each school has a designated activity to do. These two activities are the Clean-Up Drive and Tree Planting Activity. Our School, Marikina Science High School, was assigned to do the Clean-Up Drive. We used gloves and trashbags in order to pick up trashes we saw on the way going to our school.
