On Sunday 3rd March, The Queens Park Scout Group participated in their 4th Annual "Clean Up Australia Day" in as many years. 

Not even the rain could stop 1 Joey, 9 Cubs, 5 Scouts, 3 Leaders & 3 Parents participating in our event. 

We collected rubbish from 2 parks in the Ipswich CBD both in walking distance of our Scout Den. Queens Park & Limestone Park. Amongst what was collected was lots of food wrappers, drink containers, cigarette butts, a crushed 44 gal drum, a used rusted Fire Extinguisher, even some tobacco & drug paraphernalia. 

A great effort by everyone. Especially since both parks are supposed to be maintained by the Ipswich City Council.
