Carbon dioxide , toxic gases to a fertilizer
Climate change and declining soil fertility threaten food security and livelihoods. This project was inspired by the need to reduce atmospheric carbon dioxide while creating sustainable fertilizer that improves crop production, protects the environment, and supports resilient communities.
I designed the project concept, researched carbon capture and fertilizer production methods, developed a prototype plan, identified the required materials and technology, and tested the idea to evaluate its potential for reducing atmospheric CO₂ while producing sustainable fertilizer for agriculture.
Through this project, I learned that climate challenges can be transformed into opportunities through innovation. I gained a deeper understanding of carbon capture technologies, sustainable fertilizer production, environmental conservation, and the importance of developing practical solutions that improve agriculture while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The project also strengthened my problem-solving, research, and innovation skills.
