Breaking the silence Build community

I was motivated to start this project after seeing many people, especially young people, silently struggle with stress, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges due to stigma and lack of support. I wanted to create a safe space where people can talk, receive guidance, and understand that mental wellbeing is as important as physical health.
We executed the project by creating awareness about mental health through community dialogues, youth engagement sessions, counseling support, and educational campaigns. We partnered with community leaders and health professionals to identify mental health challenges, reduce stigma, encourage people to seek help, and promote positive coping skills for a healthier and more resilient community.
I learned that mental health awareness, active listening, and community support can transform lives. I gained skills in leadership, communication, empathy, and problem-solving while understanding the importance of reducing stigma and creating supportive environments where people can seek help.
