The National and Western Cape office staff decided to donate blankets for Heaven's nest child care center, located in Ottery, Cape Town. It is a centre for up to 14 children at a time, between the ages of six months and eight years old. The centre was in need of blankets to keep the children warm. For six months the National office staff members knitted those blankets. They also made educational and treat packets which were decorated during a team building session. On Thursday the 14th of July 2016 the staff visited Heaven's nest and gave 28 hand knitted blankets, 100 items of food supplies, educational packs and crafty treat packets to the children and the support team at the home.
