I wanted to do something for people in Sydney who are homeless and in need with my Scout Troop, so I found a company who needed Blankets/Sleeping Bags and Towels to give to people in need in Sydney City. Our troop agreed to have a Blanket Drive and we will be doing this in a couple of weeks. Hopefully we will get heaps, as the organization we are collecting for have between 80 and 200 people turn up for assistance every week. We have too many people living homeless in Sydney and around the world, so I wanted to do something small to help make it a little better. I have 4 other scouts and 2 leaders helping with this Community Project and we will be doing our collection soon, so we will update you on how we do. We have already collected 30 sleeping bags from another scout group.
