Agri spray, smarter farming

This project was inspired by the challenges farmers face with manual crop spraying, including high labor costs, chemical exposure, and low efficiency. The goal is to use drone technology to make farming safer, faster, and more productive.
We designed and built a drone equipped with a spraying system, then tested it at jinja exhibition grounds and emerged the best exhibitor to ensure accurate and efficient crop spraying. The drone was improved based on test results to provide a safer, faster, and more cost-effective solution for farmers.
Through this project, we learned the importance of precision agriculture, drone technology, teamwork, and problem-solving. We also gained practical skills in designing, testing, and improving solutions that help farmers increase productivity while reducing costs and chemical waste. This also opened our eyes to make a rocket for grids
