60km… No Problem From Sepang to Putrajaya

As a scouts member, one of the badges required was to make a 60km walking adventure. And that’s what my 15 scout members and I did.

Our journey starts by moving from the KTM Nilai where we gather our scout members before we make a move towards the UNITEN, Sepang, which is the aircraft and Flight University. It was a dangerous road as we past a lot of high ways and sharp turns. We also had to deal with the rain which came pouring in the evening before we manage to make a move after 2 hours of waiting which we were lucky as we near the UniTen area. Once we reach there, we set our camps tent and had a lecture of air craft equipment before we had a practical about air craft and their parts functions.

The next morning, we continue our move from UniTen to PutraJaya. The trip was horrendously dangerous as once again we had to cross many dangerous roads, but we manage to reach there in time. We slept at Masjid Cyberjaya for refuge and since we reach there in the late evening and our members were quite tired after a long journey.

The next morning, we divided our teams to two and my team went to measure the height of the Putrajaya Tower. After that, we make our way to the Masjid Putrajaya. We nearly had gotten lose but manage to recover as we climb up the stairs leading to the bridge of Masjid PutraJaya. we manage to finish our task in helping the community by cleaning up the area there before we head to the botanic garden of Putrajaya for our next task. It was hard to find the herbs for remedies, but we were lucky to have internet on our side as we search for the common ones that we can spot there. Then, we made our journey to the Muzium which was closed. Thus, we did not manage to get a signature and ask for out conductor to change the task as we did by taking a group picture instead. Nearly the evening, we walk to our last destination which is the Colestridium of Putrajaya and sketch the picture like how the task required us to do before we head in for a picture. We were lucky as the place had a convocation that hour, thus we bought some food there too before we head back to UPM. Luckily, since Putrajaya was near to UPM 17 College, we manage to reach there before the night falls.
