Our kings birth anniversary was the special opportunity for us to not only show love and care towards our king but also to show gratitude for the tranquil life that he has given for us. It was rather an obligation for us as a proud bhutanese and as a scout to celebrate and make that day a memorable one. The day started with morning prayers for long life and good health of our king. Then I went to celebrate the day with the other students who were also gathered to celebrate that day. I helped the public with sitting arrangements, serving and other necessary things that were needed to them. I could also support the students who were dancing to gratify our king. There a about 1500 students, 250 guest including all teachers and about 2000 people to witness the program. Finally the program ended with tree plantation also to make the scouts day.
