we the guides of shining star unit of st sebastian english medium school had began our c. d projects on 02.10.16. COH held on 30.09.16 had decided to conduct 2 c.d projects as per APRO . we had collected information on what the diseases like HIV malaria etc are .And also about gender equality and women empowerment. we first had prepared pamplates to distribute related to our projects. and we also had kept ready some information ready to explain to the residents of the places we were visiting to . we went home to home distributing pamplates and creating awareness about of our projects . on the topic of diseases we gave information such as about the spread of HIV , malaria. we told how these spreads and how to cure them. and recorded all our activities as our reports . it was a joypul experience in taking part in this activity or maybe called as project 2.Promote gender equality and women empowermwent COH held on 30.9.16 took decision to work on the above topic. we had already some basic informatiomn on the topic but we searched for still deeper information . we even prepared the pamplets regarding this.we explained to the people what women empowrerment and gender equality is. why it is necessary for women to be empowered , etc even the residents cooperated with us and agreed that this change in society is important regarding women is not so able to take up the responsibilities. even many people took an oath that they will always encourage women in every works for their betterment. with this we ended our work on27.04.17. we had skipped the month of march on the reason of our exams so we carried out our 6th month work in april. this may also be called as project but for me it was just as a service to society.
