Scouts all over the world are building linkages and bridges targeted at creating positive social impacts and making the world a better place. It's that time of the year when the rain drops heavily, causing environmental hazards and disrupting economic activities. This is the case of Yola - Taraba road; a major road linking Adamawa and Taraba States, which have been in bad condition due to the rain. The dangers posed by this major road that links these two states have been a major threats to the transportation industry, thereby hyping the prices of goods and service derived from the neighbouring state, as well as discouraging road users from plying that route due to dangers involved. A joint scout and other volunteers project in Zing Local Government Area of Taraba State, Nigeria saw a need to tackle issues related to a poor interstate road network between Yola, Adamawa State and Taraba State. It is believed that the project will go a long way to alleviating the untold hardship and adverse conditions on the road.
