Rover leader run for peace

Today, September 21, while the International Day of Peace is being celebrated with pomp and circumstance all over the world, the Nepal Scouts have also run a peace race in Hetauda, the capital of Bagmati province with the message of world peace. Ashok Saru Magar, a rover leader from Makwanpur, handed over the flag to Chief Minister Dormani Poudel as a conductor of world peace after running 7 km from Hetauda-15 Ratomate Bazaar to the Chief Minister's residence in Bagmati.

One of the most significant and effective activities of this year's World Peace Day was the handing over of the flag with the message of peace to the Chief Minister through creative practice while one negative incident after another was becoming public all over the world. Signing the commitment on the flag handed over by Saru Magar, a rover leader of the scouts who carried the flag and message of peace, the Chief Minister said that the Bagmati state government was playing a role for peace as he was always in favor of peace. He clarified that the state government would play a parental role in establishing peace in the coming days in coordination with the scouts and other stakeholders.
