Mental Health

As we go on and on, we never realize some important things going inside us and we tend to think it is natural. We even tent to use some words which can't fit to the situation. In this regard, I presented what is mental health to scouts of Chukha Central school yesterday(25/8/16) after school.
I touched on following topics:
1. Mental stress
2. Mental distress
3. Mental disorder
4. Depression
5. Suicide
First four listed topics are the main cause of suicide and how they are related...
According to some researchers, the main difference between first four is magnitude of illness of the mind and the time. Stress is how our body responses to some demand and threat. Stress can last for few days but not more than a week. Distress is slightly above stress, it is referred as extreme worry, sorrow or pain and it won't last more than three weeks. Disorder is sick of our mind, and it is severe than stress and distress. It will last more than a month. Next comes depression, feelings of severe despondency and dejection. This is the last stage of our mind to become physco and leads to suicide, Kleptomania and so on..
We even discussed signs and symptoms of all issues listed above and how to overcome those issues. We even discussed myth about suicide and risk factors. It was worth sharing such important to the young minds as they are susceptible to such health.
Finally, "Nothing is good or bad, thinking makes it so", we should know how to cope with our mind.
