Littering of the environment using plastics has become a major challenge in most developing countries. This is due to the rapidly rising human population which makes consumption high. Plastic pollution is the next (infact current) pandemic in the development world. We need to come up with ways on how to minimize or completely eradicate this plastic menace. In light of this, the scouts at Kisiwa Technical Training Institute came up with an initiative to collect plastics within the college and the surrounding environment. This initiative is a long term project that will run continuously to ensure no plastics within the college and the surrounding community.
