International Day of Peace

The theme of the International Day of Peace, “Act Now for a Peaceful World,” inspired us to undertake this project and promote the importance of peace, harmony, and positive action. The project helped students understand that creating a peaceful world requires both personal and collective efforts. Through the programme, students learned that small acts of kindness, respect, cooperation, and understanding can contribute to building a peaceful community.

Dhur Primary School observed the International Day of Peace after school with the active participation of students and teachers. The programme began with an explanation of the theme, where teachers highlighted the importance of taking action for peace. Students were encouraged to reflect on how their everyday actions can promote harmony within the school and the wider community. The programme successfully raised awareness about peace and encouraged students to become responsible and positive contributors to a peaceful world.
