INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE

When the lockdown began in March, I realised that we had many spare seeds at home, which had not been planted yet. In April, according to the sowing season of those plants, I gave them a home in many different pots. Since then, I have watered them everyday and since no gardener was available in the lockdown, I turned the soil over by myself too.

On 26.09.2020, arrived many more seeds that I had placed an order for online. I was short of pots to put them in, but I wanted them to bloom. So, I separated those pots out which had some extra space and could accommodate more plants. After this, I planted my new seeds I them. No shoots have come out yet, but I am hopeful that they will make my balcony even greener once they bloom.

The satisfaction of seeing a plant planted with your own hands is a very different but satisfying and wholesome experience. I wish to keep planting more and more trees so that I give back to nature in some rather small way than what nature does for us.
