History was recorded at Enugu State, Nigeria as The Nigerian Girl Guide Association, ENUGU STATE Council in collaboration with the Scout Association of Nigeria, ENUGU STATE Council celebrated the 2018 World Thinking Day otherwise known as the Founders Day together for the first time. The event commenced with a Holy Eucharistic  Mass celebration, and featured special guard of honour, drama, cultural dance, match past and investiture ceremony of the Girl Guides Matrons. Highlights of the day was cutting of a cake in commemoration of the birthday of the foremost leaders and founders of the world wide movements; Lord Robert Stevenson Smyth Baden-Powel and the wife Lady Olave St. Clair Baden-Powel. The occasion was graced by both leaders and members of Scouts and Girls Guides Associations, as well as other uniform organization and members of the immediate community. Few amongst others includes; Prince Madu Uche P. LT, Asst National Training Commissioner South East, Princess Madu Ngozi ALT (SHQ Commissioner Medical) and team of other Commissioners of the Enugu State Scout Council to represent the Enugu State Scout Commissioner Chief Nduka Eya, as well as the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) Sector Commander for Enugu. The Nigerian Girl Guide Commissioner Enugu State Ezinne( Mrs) Florence Ozeh was decorated with the South East Trainers Scarf/Neckerchief tagged "Training Road Map to Grassroot Scouting" by Prince Madu Uche LT.   It was a remarkable event.
