Celebrating International Peace Day
What inspired you to take up the project?
It is our responsibility to celebrate international Peace day as it is important to maintain internal and external order against all odds.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
I learned from this celebration that we need to look after the things going around the world. The countries are having wars over issues which can be solved with mere discussions, rather than affecting its own kind. And during those times , we have to step forward to help the unprivilegd and create peace in this world.
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
firstly we had all of our volunteered scout students gather together for brief brieffing about the significance of celebrating international Peace day and quick report . For the main event, we had a prayer taking in place to offer peaceful offerings to God and to those people who had suffered devastating loss from wars . Then , we had cleaned all of the surrounding and picked up litters around the local temple , to ensure it remains neat and beautiful every time .
