Bridges of Harmony: triad peace exchange camp
In the hills just beyond the city’s hustle, there lies a center unlike any other—a camp where students from three different colleges come together, united by one goal: peace. This is the Tri-College Rover Peace Exchange Camp, a gathering that fosters collaboration, communication, and compassion among young minds eager to make the world a better place.
A Vision for Change
The idea of the Tri-College Rover Peace Exchange Camp was born out of a shared desire between three institutions: Paro college of education, Gyalpozhing college of information & technology and Norbu Rigter College. These colleges, located in different area but sharing similar values, wanted to create a space for their rovers to interact beyond their college. The camp would focus on promoting peace and understanding through shared activities, discussions, and cultural exchanges.
Teamwork Through Adventure
Adventure and teamwork are central to the camp’s philosophy. Throughout the program, the participants take part in challenges that test their ability to work together under pressure. From solving clues to find the treasures to diving into the adventure valley every activity encourages collaboration across stereotypes.
This camp is a testament to the power of youth, education, and unity. May its spirit of peace and collaboration continue to inspire others to create similar initiatives nationwide.
