What inspired you to take up the project?
Peace is possible and it begins with you.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
I learned every individuals can contribute to world peace trough small steps.
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
We observed International Day of Peace with the theme Act Now for a Peaceful World.
- Shared importance of Peace Day and the theme.
- Played a game called peace detectives where scouts and leader are made to search for peace message and made them share the message with others.
- Planted 60 flowers in flower pots made up of jerry cans.
- Mass cleaning camp in and around the community to promote cleanliness and community responsibility.
