Waste Campign based Advocacy on Peace Day

This project focuses on promoting peace, environmental responsibility, and community participation through an advocacy-based campaign. The main purpose is to create awareness among scouts and community members about the importance of maintaining a clean environment while also encouraging peaceful and responsible behavior. Through activities such as community cleaning campaigns, awareness programs, cultural performances, and interactive activities, the project aims to inspire people to take action for the well-being of their community.

The campaign promotes the message that “My Waste, My Responsibility” and encourages individuals to take personal responsibility for the waste they produce. At the same time, it connects environmental care with the broader theme of building a peaceful world, where people cooperate, respect one another, and work together for the common good. By involving scouts and community members, the campaign aims to develop leadership, teamwork, civic responsibility, and a stronger sense of ownership toward the community and its environment.

Ultimately, the project seeks to show that small actions, such as properly disposing of waste, keeping public spaces clean, helping others, and working together peacefully, can create a positive and lasting impact on society.

We celebrated International Peace Day within the nearby community with the approval and support of the school principal and under the guidance of our scout masters. The celebration was organized to promote the values of peace, unity, cooperation, respect, and responsible citizenship among the scouts and community members. With proper guidance and planning, the scouts actively participated in various activities that helped spread the message of peace and encouraged everyone to contribute towards building a peaceful and harmonious community.

The celebration also provided an opportunity for the scouts to interact with community members and share important messages about peace, cleanliness, and social responsibility. Through our activities, we highlighted that peace is not only about avoiding conflict but also about caring for one another, respecting our surroundings, and working together for the benefit of the community. The guidance and support provided by the scout masters helped us carry out the program successfully and encouraged the scouts to take responsibility and demonstrate leadership throughout the celebration.
