VOLUNTEERING IN LOCAL FESTIVAL
I was motivated to volunteer in that festival by my local leaders and other scouting fellows. We all discussed together and planned to volunteer. We are also looking for future opportunities to volunteer in such occasions.
The local festival was during our school break. We all gathered together almost 2 weeks before the festival. During this 2 weeks we all helped our senior citizens to beautify the places and help them in serving refreshments and all. During those time, the local leader also let us practice some cultural items to perform on the stage. We all enjoyed and did our best to make the program more interesting though it was very hard for us.
The lesson that i learned from that festival is that, we never know when will be our date of dead, as nothing is permanent in this world. So during our stay in this world we should learn and volunteer in such important occasion.
