Volunteering here has been the best experience of my life! The people I've worked with, chatted with and the scouts who make the place something special are a testament to scouting. Last Summer 600 scouts took part in our Messenger of Peace and Diversity Training and I had the pleasure of delivering that. People tend to belittle young people saying that they won't understand things like sectarianism and how to stop it, but they can and are much more willing to stop it. Most of all, the willingness to help people, to have fun and to do your best, is at the forefront of what we do here. I'm glad to say that I am part of this great place. I hope that more people will take up the opportunity to come here and take part in it. It's really hard to put what you can learn about in scouts into words, it's something that can only be experienced and I hope that everybody can experience that too.
