Volunteer in Tshechu
I was inspired by the opportunity to contribute to my community and support the successful celebration of the festival. I wanted to be part of something meaningful while helping preserve our environment, culture, and traditions.
The project was carried out at the festival area by assisting the festival organizers, guiding visitors, helping monks, and maintaining cleanliness around the venue. Volunteers worked together to ensure that the event was conducted smoothly, safely, and respectfully. We also coordinated with local authorities and community members to keep the festival organized and welcoming for everyone.
Through this project, I learned the importance of teamwork, discipline, and community service. I gained a deeper appreciation for Bhutanese culture and traditions and understood that even small acts of service can make a meaningful difference. The experience also taught me that volunteering can bring people together and promote unity, peace, and social responsibility.
