VOLUNTEER FOR GRASS CUTTING

This project was inspired by the desire to support elderly people who are unable to carry out physically demanding tasks on their own. The motivation behind this project was to help them through community service, create a cleaner and safer environment and show care and kindness to those in need.
The grass-cutting service was carried out at the home of an elderly couple in my community to help maintain a clean and safe living environment. During the work, the elderly couple provided us refreshments as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation. After completing the initial grass-cutting, lunch was shared together before continuing with the remaining work. Finally, all the cut grass and other waste were collected and properly disposed of leaving the surroundings clean, tidy and safer.
From this project, I learned the importance of helping elderly people and taking responsibility for maintaining a clean environment. It also taught me teamwork, patience and how small acts of service can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
