Vegetable Production THRU SNAP HYDRPONICS SYSTEM

This project is all about urban agriculture which will focus on the production of vegetables through hydroponics and aquaponics system. This project aims to produce high value crops in a limited area which will served as a food basket among school children who had been identified as the beneficiary of the project. This kind of food production is a part of the urban agriculture project.
This project will utilize a green as the shelter of the plants grown hydroponically. Leafy vegetables will be planted in a rotation way of planting vegetables.
Proceeds of this project will be turnover to the school canteen to purchased additional food which will be feed to the school children who are malnourished. Other vegetables will be served also to the beneficiaries.
As far as learning is concerned, this project will also served as a showcase to all school children. There will be an allotted time for them to have a hands on activity and a demonstration for them to be fully aware on how urban agriculture is important.
