Unity March in Memory of Sardar Patel
The Unity March was inspired by the vision and ideals of Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of India’s unity. Commemorating his 150th birth anniversary motivated us to instill patriotism, national integration, and civic responsibility among Scouts and students. The marathon symbolized collective strength, discipline, and commitment to unity, encouraging youth to actively uphold the values of service and nation-building.
The Unity March was executed through coordinated planning with organizers, faculty, and Scout leaders. Students were briefed on the significance of the event and disciplined participation. Logistics, uniforms, and safety measures were arranged in advance. Scouts actively took part in the marathon, maintaining unity and decorum throughout, ensuring the programme was conducted smoothly and meaningfully.
Through the Unity March, we learned the importance of unity, discipline, and collective responsibility in achieving a common goal. The event strengthened teamwork, leadership, and time management skills among participants. We realized how public participation can spread patriotic values and social awareness. The march reinforced respect for national leaders and inspired us to contribute actively toward national integration and community service.
