Cub Scout Pack 125 based in Holly Springs GA worked in conjunction with Life Bible Church in our city. The church has a connection to the Ukraine, with several of their members being Ukrainian immigrants to the United States. The mission project was to provide clothing and household goods to be shipped to the Ukraine into the conflict area. They collected hundreds of bags and boxes of items over the first few months of 2015. Cub Scout Pack 125 worked on several occasions to sort and box the items for shipment in an ocean container bound for the Ukraine. The boys and their families sorted and boxed over 300 large cartons for shipment. Several of our leaders and boys were there as the last boxes were packed for the container. We look forward to hearing from the contacts in the Ukraine when the items are received and delivered.
