Trending Trash: Recycled Fashion Show

This project was inspired by the growing need to reduce waste and promote environmental awareness among students. It aimed to show how discarded materials can be reused creatively, encouraging recycling, sustainability, and innovative thinking through a fun and engaging fashion show.

The project was executed by organizing students into groups and encouraging them to design costumes using waste and recyclable materials. Teachers and coordinators guided the process, and necessary materials were collected from home and school. A fashion show was conducted where students showcased their creative eco-friendly designs. The project was undertaken for a day long with 32 students

I learned the importance of creativity, teamwork, and environmental responsibility. The project showed that waste can be transformed into useful and beautiful products through innovation. It also strengthened awareness of recycling and encouraged students to think sustainably in everyday life.
