Tree Plantation Program

The on going pandemic motived me to take up this project. The Corona Virus lockdown as led to drop in pollution across the world and the nature was healing rapidly because the environment was untouched by any pollution. The goal of this project was to plant saplings as many as possible.
The project took place at our State Head Quarter, The Bharat Scouts & Guides, Assam. On the occasion of International Day of Peace i.e. on 21st of September we conducted a plantation drive which went by for 3days i.e. till 23rd of September. We reused the plastic bottles which could not be recycled because of High-Density Polyethylene as pots to hold up the saplings.
By this project a group of 4 Rover and Ranger was benefited, as we got some basic knowledge of plantation, grafting, types of plastic. The project was the highlight of the The International Day of Peace program, as we got to see how we can reuse the things around us and create something beautiful out of it.
we got to learn about different techniques of plantation and about polythene. It also taught us about team work.
