Tree Plantation & Cleanliness Drive
Walking through Foreman Colony, we hated seeing empty, dusty patches of dirt where trees should be. We wanted to leave a permanent mark, so we spent two exhausting days making it happen. The first day was brutal—clearing trash and digging heavy holes in the hard ground. Coming back on day two to finally set the saplings into their places and water them felt incredibly rewarding.
We executed this over two exhausting but rewarding days. On day one, we scouted the colony, cleared away trash and rocks, and dug all the holes for the saplings. The next morning, we hauled the heavy plants to the site, carefully set them into their designated spots, and thoroughly watered them. It was hard physical work, but seeing the bare ground transform into a green zone made it worth it.
Spending two days on this drive taught us that planting trees is mostly hard groundwork. Spending the first day just clearing trash and digging holes in tough soil was exhausting, but it made day two—carrying the saplings in and watering them—incredibly rewarding. We realized real sustainability isn't just a quick photo op; it takes sweat, preparation, and careful planning to give life a chance to grow.
