Trash Clean-up at Elementary School
The scouts wanted to do a service project that helped their local community. They decided that cleaning up the trash at a local school would help beautify it and help with keeping the students and teachers safe.
The Tiger and Wolf Dens worked together to clean-up both parking lots and around the outside of Bulverde Creek Elementary. They picked up all the trash (big and small) in the two parking lots, grass areas, and around the building. They picked up a full kitchen size garbage bag between all the scouts.
The Tiger and Wolf Dens learned that throwing, dropping, or leaving your trash makes the area ugly and un sanitary for others, both people and wild life. There are several deer and other animals that wonder onto this area.
