Cub Scout Pack 828 organized a sock drive in October at our school to collect socks for Houston's homeless men, women and children. We got the idea of a sock drive from Kid President who created the #Socktober movement. We then partnered with Kylie's Prayer, a Christian ministry that brings comfort and love to Houston's homeless population. We met them and went out on a delivery run where we got to bring our collection of socks and food and clothing directly to those who need it.
