Sharing the warm love
The groups of Rover Ranger from National open scouts Crew of Kathmandu in collaboration with Nepal Scouts initiate a very effective project for the flood victims of south Nepal who lost everything in last july. The devastating flood stole everything from poor farmer even their shelters and beddings. There were so many ngos ran emergency response right after the flood but nobody thought about the freezy winter coming after 3 month. The scouts crew leaded by Mr. Bidur Giri and MoP local coordinator Ms. Manizila Sunuwar, collect old and used clothes from scouts and made warm beddings by dismentalling it. The useless clothes become warm cutton beddings for the victims of flood. The scouts crew able to produce beddings for 50 victim family it includes 50 blankets, 50 beddings , 100 pillows and 1300kg of rice along with 500kgs of beatn rice, biscuits, cooking oil, salt, flour and noodels. Last October28 the group of rover rangers went to the gaur village of rautahat and shared their love with victims with the help of local scouts.
From this very project they able to create a positive impact in particular community about scouting and also able to make a history in humanitarian action.
