Serving Community, Honoring the Scarf ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡น

Every piece of litter we clear and every sacred trail we preserve reflects our commitment to protecting our cultural heritage and natural environment. Wearing the Scout scarf is not just a privilege but also a symbol of responsibility, discipline, and dedication. Through our actions, we demonstrate that true Scout spirit lies in serving others, protecting nature, respecting our traditions, and making a positive difference in our community. The scarf represents our pride, but selfless service defines who we are.

To commemorate World Scarf Day, the NRC Rover Crew organised a one-day social service initiative (zhabto) at Tandin Ney. The activity focused on environmental conservation, proper waste management, and maintaining cleanliness at the sacred site. Through collective efforts, the Rover Scouts actively contributed to preserving the natural beauty and spiritual significance of the area. The initiative also strengthened the values of teamwork, discipline, and selfless service by putting the Scout Promise into action and demonstrating the important role of young people in protecting the environment and serving the community.

The initiative helped maintain the cleanliness and sacredness of Tandin Ney while promoting environmental awareness and responsible waste management. It strengthened the Rover Scouts' teamwork, discipline, and spirit of selfless service. Most importantly, it demonstrated how young people can make a positive contribution to protecting cultural heritage and the environment.

Clean trails create a healthier environment and a more peaceful community. Through collective effort, teamwork, and shared responsibility, we can make an immediate and visible difference. Every small contribution towards keeping our surroundings clean reflects our commitment to protecting nature and serving society.
