From June 4-8 a seminar for presidents, secretaries and MoP coordinators of WOSM Eurasia Region NSOs was held in Rustavi, Georgia. The atmosphere of the seminar was constructive and practical. The NSOs had presentations after which an in-depth analysis of the situation in the Region was made. Nikolay Akatov, Adviser to ERSC, hold a training, emphasizing the omissions and issues which the Region currently has. Huge attention was paid to the Messengers of Peace project. Cynthia Marquez, MoP Global Projects Manager, represented the mechanism of the network and called upon all the participants to being more active. Tatiana Smykovska, Financial Assistant of the Region, described the system of the membership fees and financial accounting. The Messengers of Peace from different countries also visited a secondary school in Rustavi and had both an exciting and useful meeting with the schoolchildren.
