Scout volunteers from Sabac deliver help to the most affected
During the recent heavy floods that affected a great part of Western and Central Serbia, the Scouts from the town of Sabac were among the most active. After they have successfully helped by filling sandbags to reinforce the protective walls and prevent the river Sava from flooding their city, they continue to provide support to those in needs. In their scout center they have opened a distribution center, where they collect and classify aid that is delivered by their scout friends from all across Serbia. While the scouts are busy collecting and sorting the help, the volunteers deliver the much needed everyday things to families in the surrounding villages. One of those was the family Nenadovic in the village Majur which was also affected by flooding. The happiest among the family was little Jana who was cheered by one of the volunteers and the toys she has received. Once again, scouts have showed that they do not only smile, but also put smiles on other peoples’ faces.
