Regional MoP Network Training, Africa 2017

The main goal of the activity is to build capacity of National Coordinators to support National Scout Organizations to implement the MoP Initiative in Africa. Participants to this workshop joined the Regional MoP Core Team to grow the sense of ownership of the process by National Scout Organizations to effectively deliver the Messengers of Peace Initiative in Africa. The key outcomes of the training included; to, - develop a harmonized regional plan to support NSA/Os - develop objectives of the MoP Network for Africa until the next Regional Conference (2018) - enhance skills and visibility of the MoP Initiative for a stronger social impact - facilitate positive experience sharing both at local and global levels A total of 20 selected participants will take part in the training including current MoP coordinators, MoP Ambassadors, Youth Advisors and other selected young leaders from each of the five zones. All participants to this workshop will form the Africa MoP Core Team (or Core Pool of Volunteers) for the Africa Region. A team of 7 facilitators facilitated this workshop.
