Rake the City

We wanted to do something helpful for the elderly in our city. A company called Active Generations started a program to assist elderly residents over the age of 60 who have no family or local support for yard work. They also include individuals under the age of 60 with physical disabilities. We felt this was a great opportunity to give back to our community while assisting the elderly and disabled.
We raked the yard and cleared away branches and debris, placing the items in a yard-safe recyclable bag. After that, we took the bag to our local yard cleanup facility.
This is a great opportunity to give back to the community, meet new people, and enjoy the outdoors.
