Project KA-LINIS
The students were motivated by their desire to create a cleaner, safer, and healthier school environment where everyone can learn and grow. They wanted to serve their community, practice leadership, and build a culture of responsibility and care—proving that even small actions can inspire big change.
They executed the project through teamwork, planning, and active community involvement. They coordinated with school and barangay leaders, conducted orientations, and worked together in clean-up activities like sweeping, grass-cutting, repainting, and waste segregation. They also involved parents and local partners through “Adopt-a-Corner” initiatives and ended with reflection sessions to improve and sustain the project.
They learned the value of teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in creating a cleaner and safer school environment. They realized that caring for the community starts with simple actions done consistently. They also gained awareness about proper waste management, the importance of sustainability, and how collaboration with partners can make a bigger and lasting impact.
