Thirteen New Zealand Rovers recently took part in a local Pride Day, in Wellington, New Zealand. Out in the Park is an annual event, attracting hundreds of LGBTIQ + people to celebrate diversity and to share in each others' company. The Rovers had a stall at this event, handing out promotional material and making a positive stance towards being an inclusive youth organisation! This is an official first for SCOUTS New Zealand and the future looks promising for more events of this type. A real impression was made by the Rovers at the Out in the Park event, with many participants happy to see a Scouting presence. Bravo all!
