"PLANT TREES & LETS BREATHE"

I was so inspired when watched a TV program called as "Thurulatha saha Api"Its a nice TV program & it was totally about indigenous trees in Sri Lanka .They talk lot about Mee,Batadomba,Macaramba & many more trees/plants. So I strongly believe that this project maybe helps a lot for me to enhance & stretch my knowledge about environment & sustainability.
I implemented it in my garden. Healthy plants should be selected first. I preferred Vegetable plants. Then have to be selected the required fertilizer and make a pit as of the plantation guidelines. Then to be planted by applying soil in to it & water will be Compost is the most suitable & healthy fertilizer should be applied on regular intervals. There are lot of fertilizers in the market .However, Compost is a best fertilizer to plant trees.
My target crowd will be my family & closest relatives to sharing the harvest & I suppose to expand among many people when I grow up the capacity of my plantation project & I am sure my family will be benefitted specially during the prevailing pandemic situation in the island.
I learnt lot of things from this project. Mainly importance of plantation as to how it contributes to sustain our environment and also how it benefitted to the people when consuming the harvest. Furthermore, learnt the methods & processes of plantation such as arranging pits, applying fertilizer, planting post caring of the plantation.
