Our Scout troop, along with the Joey Scout Section did the Messengers of Peace Program. We wanted to did this in our local community as there are many in need, and a local community group called Coast Shelter is a place they can receive food, shelter and many more things. The Scouts had to plan and run a night to make our Joey Scout aware of what we were doing and why. We also dropped off the items that we had collected and had a great talk with the people who volunteer there. They explained that every little bit helped the hundreds of people they look after and are voices are going to be the best thing we can offer also to get the message out there.
