Bhutan celebrates "Blessed Rainy Day."The day marks the end of monsoon season for the year and too marks the end of farming season & beginning to the harvesting season in a country.According to the old bhutanese beliefs its said that all the water in a country are blessed and so is considered as holy on this day where citizens in a kingdoms are encouraged to take outdoor bath in order to cleanse their past misdeeds & bad karma.So on this particular day institutions,schools and government offices are closed where most people remains back with their family,friends & relatives celebrating the day displaying varieties of food in front of them.
